Spiral Cables
SIMBAL Spiral cables are available from various types of material, it is important to select the correct cable for your application as follows :-
EXTENSIFLEX K
This is an excellent, hard wearing general purpose cable with Polyurathene (PUR) outer sheath
and PVC Insulation. This cable is suitable for many different applications including hand tools,
power supplies to cash tills and many more.
EXTENSIFLEX G
If your application involves very arduous duty or extreme temperatures then you should select
the Extensifles ‘G’ cable, this cable again features a heavy duty PUR outer sheath but with the
added flexibility of a rubber (EPR) core insulation, the cable is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
EXTENSIFLEX E
This is a TPE/PUR cable specially designed for electronic applications, it is the ideal solution for
medical equipment, measuring devices and other similar equipment.
EXTENSIFLEX Screened
This is a screened version of the Extensiflex E cable, it features a helical copper screen giving
approx 90% coverage ensuring that the reset ability of the cable is not impared.
EXTENSIFLEX R
This is the Rolls Royce of extensible cables, manufactured from highly flexible and hard wering
TPE/PUR Robotics cable and suitable for the most arduous applications including robots, heavy
duty machines, lifting ramps and drilling machines. These cables are used where high quality
and long service life are a necessity.
